There's a reason very few people that haven't been wrestling in some form their whole lives tend be more on the striker side. There's a bigger learning curve to grappling than striking to get competent in the UFC.Honestly, bring him over. Why not? I'd love to see it.
I will warn that...wrestling is the area of a fighter's game that improves the slowest. Particularly that he would need to learn to adapt his style of striking to MMA as well, in all likelihood, Hamedi would never be able to defend well against a good wrestler.
That said, you know, why put him against a wrestler? He's 23, he's young, he's got plenty of time to learn. Teach him some MMA striking, bring him over to the UFC, put him against some solid strikers and see the fireworks. I mean, if he produces one Buckley or Barboza level KO then it'll be worth it. Great for us fans.
depends on the upponentHe b needin 4 munths.
The karate olumpian guy who ko’d his opponent and lost. Gable gonna smoke everyone with 18 mos. strike trng? Tarek Hamdi could probably drill TDD for 7 mos. and be starching everyone with his feet. the hamdi era is nigh.

He'll need western boxing and learn how to check leg kicks, plus clinch fighting. Also learn how to throw combinations.
