Conor s II fight at WW vs Nate aged very very well, considering how Diaz easily survived Leon Scott and almost knocked him out in the fifth. He lost the decision yes, but had there been another round who knows how the fight would have gone .

Conor tooled Nate in the first two rounds and survived some zombie mode flurries in the II and III. Went on to win the IV , whilst the fifth was rather even.

Conor bless

Khabib and Nate exposed some of his flaws. Poirier showed how far behind he is now compared to the top dogs of his weight class.

I think he could have been great had he stayed active and hungry. Now he loses to Chandler, Oliveira, Gaethje.. Hell even maybe Dan Hooker

Conor who destroyed Alvarez is the most skilled fighter we have ever seen. When he is motivated and healthy he runs trough everyone.
That was really a masterful performance, he made Alvarez look like some bum. Which he obviously isn’t.

Might want to rewatch that with your eyes actually open.

Also, obligatory:

Nate turned McRunner into a bitch twice.
I’ve long believed that turning your back and running away to reset like that should be an instant point deduction for timidity.

One can wheel away and reset with footwork, which is reasonable. But examples like that gif should be an automatic deduction.

IS? he is pretty good. he sure whooped Cowboy. He had a few great moments against Poirier before succumbing. skill-wise he's probably a top 10 LW.
WAS? he was a potential all time great that never really proved it by winning for years (like all the other all time greats did.)

Was/Is this question rhetorical? The answer is pretty darn obvious, actually....

Easily survived?

You call looking like you were attacked by a pack of hungry hyenas easily surviving?

If that's the case that the McGregor/Diaz rematch was a cakewalk for Diaz.
