Best chin per weight class of current fighters?

I would def have Holloway over Ortega and I wouldn't have Justin(It's pretty hard to gauge who has the best at lw) but every other pick is super accurate. Vettori has a granite chin as well but we have seen Kelvin take flying knees and he ate it for breakfast.

So it's based purely on allowing someone to blast your chin? Then who knows who really has the tougher chins since the other dudes chins haven't been tested like theirs have. It's the dumbest question if that's the case. It makes zero sense to say fighter A has a better chin because he's been blasted and maybe KOd before and knocked down but he's survived a lot of hard shots vs fighter B who has taken hard shots but has never been knocked down nor KOd but he hasn't taken as hard or clean of a shot as fighter A

No, not at all it's based on who has shown to take hard shots and to have minimal to no effect from taking said shot. It's super simple actually. Let's take Israel for example since he was somebody you singled out. Why do you feel he has a better chin than Kelvin? Israel is very elusive and historically hasn't taken many hard shots, and the hardest shot I recall him taking has been a high kick from Kelvin. Gastelum on the other hand who is not an easy person to land on has taken thunderous blows to little no reaction from Ian, Whittaker, Uriah Hall, Woodley, etc.
 
Poirier's chin is way better than Gaethje's

Gaethje gets rocked a lot. He used to just KO the guy first, but that stopped working, so he had to start avoiding getting hit.

Poirier still fights almost like Gaethje used to fight. He takes shots but KOs the other guy first.

If Ngannou and Stipe switched ages and damage Ngannout would have been KO'd by Stipe in the second fight. Stipe has to be close second. Got KO'd bad by Ngnannou but people forget how many he took even in the second fight that knocked people cold. Then Ngnannou got hurt bad by Stipe but that shot also KOs most HWs
