Man I wonder why these UFC fighters dont use their name to create a social media presence like Brendan Schaub.

Brendan just created another youtube page called Thiccc boy with over 40,000 subscribers already and has a nice studio in Calabasas, California to film in

He also said during the tour of his new studio that he has several youtube channels and podcasts, and that they all bring in money from adsense.

On reddit someone said Brendan makes 5 million dollars a year before taxes all from his youtube podcasts.

Why don't these fighters especially female fighters copy him instead of having to go on Only Fans or complain about fighter pay?

Look at Brendans new studio

Brendan Schaub (unfortunately) has a name he built, thanks to his regular appearances on JRE, especially as it really gained momentum in popularity. So much so that he's had episodes completely focus on him (like the one of Rogan telling him to retire).

Not every fighter is going to be able to replicate that level of exposure.

Hate him all you want but Brendan does have personality, he genuinely enjoys doing media whereas other fighters prefer not to talk and just want to compete in sports.

They are starting to create their own channels, Wonderboy, Izzy, Sean, Weidman, and many others.

It'd be idiotic not too, it helps build your profile and you can make extra cash.

I was thinking the other day about how Matt Mitrione and Bredan Schaub have went totally different paths, one guy left the game and ventured into other avenues to make money. The other guy kept fighting despite his age, losses, or second tier signings like Bellator.

I don't know this for a fact, but I assume Schaub has more money in the bank than Matt, with much less head trauma. Crazy to think both guys were on the exact same team on the ultimate fighter, played football, and had huge wins in the UFC HW division. Guess time will tell which guy has the better ending.

Fighting is a nasty business though, a lot of these guys are dealing with alcoholism, anger issues, depression, memory loss, most guys don't seem fit to deal with Youtube. If they had enough money for someone to help them set everything up it could work, but the vast majority aren't making money like that.

He has Joe Rogan as a consultant. The rest don't. Dude has so many YouTube channels it's hard to keep up

Only Diana white Nutt huggers hate Schaub. Why? Because he stays exposing their hero.

To an extent that's true. Schaubs podcast career would be over by now if he wasn't good at it. Many many other MMA fighters have been on rogan, started a podcast, and is nowhere near the popularity of Schaubs. Be it his off the cuff remarks or his dumb sentences, alot of people still tune in to listen to him. I'm not sticking up for him, but facts are facts.

I still credit his JRE stuff more than anything.

Most fighters are on there occasionally (in many cases, once). Schaub was a reoccurring figure (and still is) on more episodes than any other MMA fighter to this day. Before his own career took off and he was still fighting, he was on JRE routinely.
