That's it! He is going to be like Koscheck who went on a 6 losing streak with 5 of them being bad finish. Specially to a young Eric Silva.

Its over, Conor can never beat up anyone because his leg injury was not just bad but he also had an ACL surgery in the past. His lifestyle choices are shit and in an interview with Megan, he mentioned that " I was training myself for months in Dubai"

Like what the fuck!!?

I have a boxing coach, sambo/judo sensei and a taekwondo/karate instructor. They push me and make sure my techniques are not shit. Yet I am not a pro and still I need this type of instruction for proper learning.

Regarding Conors future:

Dustin is a striker and BJJ guy and not wrestler/Judoka and yet Dustin was getting the better of him in the clinch like he was prime Karo Parisyan or GSP by being able to just shrug him off. Like this is the weakest MMA aspect of Dustin and yet Dustin dominated him after out striking him.

Who else can Conor beat?

Cant beat Benil since he is active and solid everywhere with great composure. Tony is still a great grappler on the feet and standing as well as great cardio, Justin is a tough striker that can do some serious damage and good enough grappler against Conor.

There was a reason he wanted to fight Diego Sanchez, he will probably call Joe Lauzon but he might get dropped by a jab and get subbed like Melvin did.

I mean, I think most of us knew this back in 2018.

I once got shit on here badly because I said " without his mind games and against guys his own size, he is a Paul Kelly level fighter" what I meant was, he is good, but nothing exceptional. He is a good run of the mill UFC fighter.

Paul Kelly was not a bad fighter but he was just a mid-card guy who put on solid performance.

Are you sure? Everyone else seems to think he is only getting better.

Mind games and trash talk are definitely part of his game but as we have seen since the Diaz fight, throw it back or ignore it and keep cool and you have already gained the upper hand on him. He wilts very easily.

I would put him a LITTLE bit higher. If you out Paul Kelly against any recent LW champ including Eddie, would he win? I think he's elite striker with an average run of the mill ground game. No1 else at LW has Dustin's level of inside boxing. Remember the 2nd match was fought at range and Dustin was getting hit almost at will. This 3rd fight was fought inside the pocket and then on the ground

Idk man Penns fall from grace was fast and hard. Conor has enough in him to possibly beat a top 10-15

Exactly, he is a front runner, if he cant beat you, he will freak out and find a way out. He has never lost a decision because he panics and gets finished in every single loss of his life.

He is for sure much more skilled than Paul Kelly but Paul has better cardio and more composure. Paul's weakness skill wise was submissions which was also Conors weakness.

Paul was tough but lacked explosiveness. Conor is a dynamic fighter but lacks toughness. Conor is a better finisher but also gets finished. Paul is more of a passive version of Conor but he hangs in there.

Eddie is like Jason Miller, way too unpredictable with his wins and losses. Miller beats Robbie Lawler and then loses to fucking Frank Trigg.

I agree he is washed now, but cmon dude, he was better than a run of the mill fighter

Also I think it's funny how people add in "people his own size" do you think Holloway has any less of a size advantage at 145?

Conor was never a GOAT, but at his best he was a great fighter, one of the best FWs ever, and a good LW

Excellent analysis I agree all around

Oh don't get me wrong, he was effective as hell!

I just felt like lots of his success was because of the mind game. I mean when have you seen Aldo lose his shit and lunge in like a guy was doing his first sparring session?

Nate is a solid gate keeper who fights high level fighters. He finished Conor and second match he got robbed a decision. Yet many have defeated Nate who to his credit is a measuring stick that separates good fighters from great fighters.

Ok look, Max and Dustin were solid wins but they were too green at the time and again, the shit talking was a factor though he didn't shit talk Max which I give Conor credit for not doing that.

Also, Paul Kelly is not a bad fighter at all, I just feel like he is just a good fighter.

If Beneil doesn't get the takedown he gets koed.

Conor really is a small guy. Too small for lw and too big for fw. You can see how tiny he is against Poirier, but bigger than a Brimmage or Aldo.

Conor is done. He didn't get to the top with pure skill like the rest did. He utilizes mind games & crowd pressure to dismantle his opponents. Skillwise, honestly Conor is a fringe top 10 LW, his stand up is above average , only great at rounds 1 & 2, and his ground game, clinch game is not top 10 LW level. Conor should fight those like him like Cerrone, Nate and just make money. He can never break top 5 of LW ever again

Thanks and using Paul Kelly was not meant any disrespect since Paul is a solid fighter.

I wouldn't consider it disrespect. There's plenty of guys are beast warriors just not everyone can be number 1. MJ has a terrible record. I still consider his prime form to he an elite striker though who could KO any man in front of him. But he is what he is you know.

True, he is vulnerable standing up and has been KO'd. So his best chance is to get a takedown.
And totally I like him but find him a little weird. But his striking is effective mostly against brawlers or basic strikers. Or if you fear the TD

Nate didn't get robbed of a decision lol, it was close, definitely not a robbery though

I was bringing up Max because I feel like a lot of people discredit Conor's FW wins because he was a big FW, but don't hold Max to the same standard. Max is a huge FW, never see people saying things like "he needs to go to LW and fight people his own size"
