Media Biased commentary by Rogan and DC

When Anderson Silva fought James Irvin, Anderson caught a leg kick and knocked Irvin out.

As Irvin was on the ground being finished, Rogan was saying "nice leg kick by Irvin!"

I never enjoyed his commentary, but after that I really really wanted him to go away. My opinion has not changed.

It’s getting worse and worse. I get it they are company men and it’s not gonna change.

But goddamn I counted twice on Saturday where Rogan ate his words immediately after jerking off the wrong guy. Not to mention the YouTube compilations of every other time.

hahahah.

Going on about Conor stunning Dusty with a clean left hand that was lunging, didn't even land, and could have gotten him easily countered.

Just like in the first fight, Dustin toyed with Conor and then obliterated him. He's better than Conor in every way.

As much as I personally dislike some of the commentators, I kinda take it with a grain of salt. There's just no way you can do that job and get it right to the point where you don't receive criticism.

EDIT*- If you're going to get rid of someone, for the love of all that's good, make it Stephen A. Smith! <BC1>

Yeah im getting really sick of this shit. I don’t know if you watched the previews for this fight, but they were showing clips of Conor from 5+ years ago and acting like those were his last few fights. They also conveniently didn’t mention Conors record or show any bad footage of him at all. If you were someone who doesn’t watch mma you would think Conor is the GOAT and Dustin is a can from those previews.

They are so fucking bad during big fights, I can see DC exaggerating because he loves WWE and it's kind of like that but it's extremely biased.

<{cruzshake}>

The problem comes essentially from rogan.
He participates, from the beginning, while they are still in the cage, to the mc gregor narrative, the "blah blah it was going perfectly till i broke my foot by accident".
Its annoying af to witness fighters not being able to take a loss and trying to pr themselves into the mix while they are losing.
Its even more annoying to see a guy like rogan helping their cause.
At least, DC has less of an agenda and he seems good people

Didn't Dustin admit that Conor caught him with a good punch?

The commentary is sometimes pretty bad but I thought last weekend wasn't too bad for a change. Feels like we're nitpicking a bit here. They gave Dustin plenty of credit.

In every other sport they just call the action for what it is. They simply explain what you are watching in an enlightening and exciting way.

The problem with Rogan and DC is they bring their own personal bias into the fight, so they twist what is happening to fit their own narrative. They will also talk about what they think the fighters should be doing instead of just telling it like it is. Also over exaggerating everything, from strikes landing to fighters getting rocked to submissions being locked in. It waters down the fights and it makes the real exciting moments less exciting. Very unprofessional and annoying.

I remember when I watched it live I didn't think the left hand landed.

I hate how they insist that a fighter is hurt by any decently clean shot. Fighter can show no reaction, Rogan exclaims "OH that punch hurt him!". I haven't studied it but I'd be willing to bet this happens more often in high profile fights vs two newbies. I would wager that if two relatively unknown fighters with no hype behind them landed a bomb on their opponent they would just comment that it was a "nice shot landed" whereas it feels like if there's a hypetrain going for a fighter every shot they land is perfect and deadly despite reality.

But I will say that DC was right about Conor's style there though. He wasn't in that upright boxer stance and was back to throwing his rangy kicks like the old Conor.

Sorry, but I call bullshit on this one.
yes, it is a difficult job. And everyone agrees.

But Rogan and DC are being so fucking biased, it borders unprofessionalism.

They completely ignore what one fighter do, and suck up to everything the other guy is doing. And it's not like they don't know what they are doing.

So no, I disagree with you.
No one is saying they have to be perfect. But be less fucking biased.
It's not that hard of an ask.

Lol yeah that’s just the norm now with Rogan. He said something about Burns having the choke locked in on wonderboy or something then wonderboy slips out and stands.

That is massively untrue. You'll be hard pressed to find a sports fan that doesn't have issues with some commentator.

My personal "least favorite".....Joe Buck.
