That division is stale as fuck, nobody except hardcores really gives a fuck about anyone in that division outside KZ and Holloway.

I know it’s not likely to happen, but it’s the only way Conor can salvage his career at this point and get a good reset. Dana and Conor need to let that 3rd ass whooping he would recieve from Poirier go and attempt one last run at 145 before it’s too late.

It would also bring back much needed attention to a division bad judging/Volkanovski ruined. I would watch the fuck out of KZ/Aldo 2/Holloway 2 vs Conor.

I’d like to say impossible but we see this a lot. With barboza and aldo even with his age to garbrandt at 125 now.

but man he’s way to rich for that sacrifice. So Conor would make it impossible. He would probably rather fight 170

He never missed weight but he sure looked drawn out those last few fights there.

Nah it's better to leave his FW run/legacy as is. Going back to it and risking losses will tarnish that run. He will move to WW instead if he loses to Dustin again and fight Diaz.

Nah.

Although hes a small LW, and looked tiny coming into the ring on Sat, he would have to cut , what 30lbs to make 145? When he has that much money, why would he

Dustin Poirier’s natural weight is 185/190 pounds. Khabib also used to walk around at 185/190 pounds before he started cutting weight.

Conor walks around at about 170/175 lbs. Same thing for Max Holloway. Max tried to compete at LW and returned to FW division. Conor should do the same.

I think most of Conors weaknesses was hidden due to his size advantages in that division. His wrestling and grappling gets better due to his opponents having to handle a bigger guy and his cardio gets better due to being lighter. He should definitely consider going back to FW. But I think he doesn't have the discipline to do it. Probably takes a lot out of him to make that weight.

It’s easy to say that but much harder to do when you’re no longer a young kid.

Conor is too big for 145 for these days, even back when he was young, I respected the fact he was able to make weight but he looked like a starving holocaust survivor. His face was so gaunt that if you didn't tell me it was Conor, I wouldn't have believed it was the same guy.

These days, Conor doesn't even wanna have to bother with cutting to 155, he had a bunch of 170 fights against LWs, so he didn't have to deal with cutting weight. I'm not saying he's a big LW, but a guy that doesn't even wanna cut to 155 anymore ain't gonna be down to cut to 145, at this age & at this point in his life

Hes put on too much muscle mass in recent years. No way he makes 145 again. Even before all the gains, he mostly made 145 with the IV ban looking like he was in Auschwitz
