I think it is. I've bought over a hundred UFC PPVs but ESPN+ makes things unbearable. Fk that. Back to streaming these last two years.

Well they have a new "Sorry, we're having technical difficulties, please be patient" or some shit like that screen so I guess they're making progress.... not. Worst app ever. Buying a PPV on Comcast back in 2007 was a better experience than this..

Every single PPV. They don't attempt to fix it. Just throw some BS excuse on why they can't host 100k people tuning in. But cable flows with 100 million at super bowl never missing a beat.

Absofuckinglutely. I think UFC needs to sign a deal with Netflix if they survive past the ESPN deal. At least i get to watch the early and prelims on ESPN cable TV. SOO much better. What i dont get is why can't ESPN work out some deal with cable companys to offer a premium ESPN channel to get the PPV's. I refuse to buy a PPV through ESPN+ , I dont care how bad i want to watch, i'll wait the next day and grab a x264 version and just stay off the interwebs the night before.

It's pretty rough. I started off on ESPN+ this evening but quickly realized that other streams are far more stable and better quality all around. Kinda sad that unofficial streams seem to work better than the actual stream.

It’s a terrible app, and has stopped me from buying PPV’s due to the lag and resolution. This last PPV I didn’t want to chance not finding a stream, so I ended up buying it through Hulu and that worked for me with no issues. They need to put more money into the app, and less money into knuckleheads who know little to nothing about mma. Stephen Smith might be good with other sports coverage, but I do not know one person who appreciates his perspective when it comes to mma.

I have ordered PPV’s more than once through ESPN and the lagging and quality has been so bad that I resorted to streaming it elsewhere and got my money back the next day.

Streams work better

It’s pretty terrible honestly. I don’t think I’ve ever used it on my TVs or phone and had it run smoothly for an entire event. I generally have to close the app and restart it more than once a night
