The City Kickboxing standout said that his team had moved to ensure he wouldn’t judge the rematch. It’s clear that Team Adesanya has left no stone unturned to ensure that things go smoothly on Saturday night.

“Shout out to my man Tim and Eugene. Eugene already made a complaint a while back to I think Mick [Maynard] saying we never want him [Chris Lee] to judge again. And apparently, he was scheduled to judge this fight again and shout out to my man Tim from Paradigm.”

“He said no fu*king way, and we got him out of there. No disrespect to him but full disrespect to him if he actually thought Marvin won that last fight.”

I think it’s ok for a fighter to request to not have a certain judge or referee and it be at the discretion of the athletic commission if they honor the request. Perhaps could lead to more scrutiny of these officials if enough complaints were made. On the flip side, requesting a particular judge or referee should never happen.

I don't mind it given how I really saw no way you could score the first fight for Vettori, and I'm a fan of Marvin.

The more shitty judges we get rid of the better. The guy that scored Lando/Grundy for Mike should never be heard from again.

Izzy is just so unlikable it’s not even funny. This is as bad as filing an appeal with the commission when you lose. But, I’m sure his fanbase will praise this move.

Meanwhile he needs to wear a training bra. But, they’re just fine with that.

This is no different to DC & Bones arguing for certain refs to be involved or excluded in their fights. Its just part of what's goes on behind the scenes.

Watch that fight, I have no idea how any person let alone a judge gave Vettori the 1st round

Just watch the 1st round.

Vettori moves forward more, but hits A LOT of air on Izzy who easily circles and never gets pressured tight against the cage other than a 30 second stint in which Vettori tries and fails about 4 leg trip takedowns. Is that the deciding factor Lee saw?. Plus Izzy landed 24 strikes to Vettori's 18, and it was clear Izzy's were more effective on top of being more numerous.
