I'm genuinely enjoying the seamless spawn of Figueiredo's Villain Role

I'm here for it all.

He's looks like a villain and speaks like a murderer from some 80s Spanish crime movie. On top of it all, he fights like an absolute killer - brutal , devastating intentions to harm you mercilessly.

And now he pushes Moreno at the presser earlier.

He just fits the bad guy role, it feels natural and I love it. I hope he fully embraces it.
Look at this fucking guy -

The hate and aggression towards Moreno comes across as forced and unnatural imo especially when you consider Moreno’s overall demeanour and the fact that he hasn’t really said anything negative about Figgy.

I like to watch him fight but if he wanted to portray himself as unlikeable and a villain then good for him, but I’m not sure if that was his intention.

Figgy is definitely a scary manlet, scary enough to give a sherdogger a slight goosebump on the back of his right leg but nothing besides that.

Was thinking the same thing while watching the Embedded series. He's gone full villain. He made a bunch of excuses after the weight cut issues but I kind of like his tenacity/belief in himself. I'm hoping Moreno sparks him, but this has been fun as hell to watch unfold. Figueiredo has definitely left his mark on the division and made it interesting again. Win or lose, I like the dude.

I think this is actually like a confidence/chip on the shoulder thing. Like he things because Moreno is nerdy/goofy/weak and that he should be able to just steamroll Moreno. Might be a cultural issue in part to be honest *shrug*.

If he is a villain is Wallid the evil mastermind?
I think it's smart. It creates some interest. Plus there is truth to the fact that Figgy Smalls is pissed that people think Moreno should have beaten him or might be better.

Like how DARE people think that.

I absolutely love MMA. Unfortunately, UFC is not a sport organization. They're and entertainers. They understand that instead of attracting real fans, it makes much more sense to attract idiots who believe in the fake bullshit of fight between guys who comes here to kill their opponent. Skills don't matter, the idiots don't understand them anyway... We need pushing, cursing, drama and that what sells. Every big business in the world is build on idiots which are in much higher numbers than smart people. That's why they can sell a fight between youtuber and a basketball player or a boxer... This scenario pushed the fighters to play the role of a bad guy to be paid better, to get to the top quicker.. It's a sad side of such an amazing sport..

I’m shocked at how much the crowd was behind Moreno

You shouldn't be. I'm from Canada and even I know Arizona has a lot of Hispanics. You really get behind all the black fighters, don't you? I follow Canadian athletes in sports. Same kind of deal.
