Ponzinibbio with 2:00 remaining in Round 2 landed flush on Baezas jaw and his head immediately snapped back.

Ponzinibbio followed it up with a combination with 1:53 remaining in Round 2 which may have broken the orbital bone of Baeza as he began to have trouble maintaining his balance.

It was surprising the commentators did not realize Baeza was effectively out on his feet for the last two minutes of the second round. It is amazing he was able to finish the fight and was not knocked down/out.

I will try to find pictures/video.

I thought he hurt Baeza too. Baeza's eyes looked out of it at certain points when he was wild swinging back. Ponzinibbio probably would've got the KO if he wasn't on one leg. Reminds me of Emmet vs Burgos but somehow Emmet was able to still knockdown burgos multiple times on one leg

I went back and watched it.

At 2:00 Ponzinibbio landed flush on the jaw of Beza which immediately snapped his head back.

That shot almost certainly concussed him.

But it was the follow up combination seven seconds later at around 1:53 left in the round that likely broke his orbital.

It looked like he went out on his feet at least once, potentially several times during the third round. He was not practicing any striking defense. The reason some of Ponzinibios shots were not landing was because he was himself compromised but not to the extent Baeza was.

The fight should have been called but somehow they did not notice.

Baeza was also unable to plant his feet to throw a strike, likely due to the orbital, which is why he reverted to the leg kicks which were noticeably off balance.

He threw 100 significant strikes to the head of Ponzinibio in the third round and only landed 18.

Just watched the fight, i agree, Miguel was shut down in the second round.

I noticed his accuracy with punches was trash but I just assumed he has weak hands.
