Three grapplers that have primarily extended the pressure forward, control strategy that made Khabib so dominant, even if with notable differences. Islam is a sambo fighter, and seems to have very good boxing while abiding to the string pressure wrestling from Khabib. Gillespie is more of a pure bred wrestler, with great explosive strength, though he is quite small. And Dariush is a BJJ black belt, but very physically strong and imposing.

I think the three are the future of the division. I think Islam probably prevails. Would love to see Dariush with Gillespie.

Islam is untested relative to those other two. No doubt he has great skills but his best win to date is super young Tsarukyan (who is a stud, no knock there) and Dober whose abilities pose him at great disadvantage.

I understand the hype but calm the fuck down.

Dariush ain’t no spring chicken anymore. While he’s ahead of Islam in accomplishments Today, I think his future potential is a little limited.

Agreed. Same with Gillespie; I was surprised to see that he's already 34 years old. If Islam gets past Moises, I'd like to see how he does against CDF.

Beneil is 32 and hasn't taken that much damage in his career.

Who would be a decent matchup for him next ideally do you think?

Still, he isn't a young prospect at 155. I also doubt the UFC really wants to push him. He defenitely is the best of the 3 OP named, but I am affraid they will try to push Islam

Yeah probably but given his position in the division, he's like one win away from a titleshot. Where as Islam is atleast 3 wins away.
