Will there ever be another year in the UFC with as many upsets as 2016?

There was a title change/major upset almost every month that year:

Dominick Cruz beats TJ Dillashaw after a four year layoff to win the Bantamweight Title
Bisping beats Anderson Siva in 5 round main event
Diaz submits McGregor after McGregor's 13 second KO of Aldo
Tate submits Holm to win the Women's Bantamweight Title
Miocic KO's Werdum to win the Heavyweight Title
Bisping KO's Rockhold on two weeks notice to win the Middleweight Title
Alvarez KO's RDA to win the Lighweight Title
Woodley KO's Lawler to win the Welterweight Title
Benevidez beats Cejudo in the TUF coaches fight
Garbrandt beats Cruz to win the Bantamweight Title and ends Cruz's undefeated streak at 135 pounds

10 major upsets in a calendar year, 7 for World Titles. Can this ever be replicated again?

I remember if you parlay'd both Diaz and Tate winning by submission it was something ridiculous like +7500.

damn, you looked into it! <EdgyBrah>

Half of those weren't upsets really.
Joe B over Cejudo? Joe B the perennial best FlyW not named DJ isn't an upset.

Cruz over TJ? Best BW of all time beating him is not a big upset.

Stipe vs Werdum not a big upset at all. Prefight odds were as low as +138 on Stipe so small upset????

None of those were particularly shocking IMO. Matt Serra over GSP outweighs your whole list.

Is it even the year of the most upsets ever? You proved nothing and this is provable with effort.

Lol Cruz was coming off 3 torn ACL's and one fight in the past 4 years. Dillashaw looked top notch against Barao- I am a massive fan of Cruz's fighting but it was a tall order even for an all time great.

Werdum looked great against Velasquez who looked unstoppable at HW going into that fight, and his striking was highly improved (as evidenced by his KO of Mark Hunt). Not saying it was a huge upset, but it definitely was one at the time.

And Cejudo had only ever lost to DJ before that fight against Benevidez, he was always the favorite to get the FLW title after DJ. And rightfully so, Cejudo hasn't lost since that Benevidez fight and he was a two weight UFC champion.

so is a 110+ an Upset????
Werdum won a fight vs Cain. Doesn't mean a fight between he and Stipe wasn't close.

Top 2 FlyW contenders fighting =/= an upset either way. Ray Borg beating Cejudo would be an upset.

USADA started in 2015 and the favorites lost immediately after, shocking
