Wow never thought I’d see the day where someone calls JDS’s striking ugly lol. For a long time he had the cleanest hands in the division, and was cracking everyone’s chins. Man does time do some crazy things in sports.

Not sure how you think that first GIF is ugly though. Lands a clean 1-2, and immediately slips the Lewis left hook counter, pops back and finds his distance again. Now that Lewis is hurt and covering up, he tries to find angles to break his guard. The overhand right over the top looks sloppy at first, but I think he tried to hold it off/ change the angle once Lewis’s head turned, that way he doesn’t hit the back of his head.

Agreed, especially for a HW, JDS has very decent striking
