How would Jacare vs Holland 2 go?

I know most think Jacare is shot, might be true. The beginning of the fight through it started how I would expect. Before that Holland was getting taken down and controlled in every fight but eventually won in most. That was crazy how he finished Jacare which I think accelerated him into a spot he wasn't ready for. I'm sure Jacare vs Holland 2 on the books would have Holland as a decent favorite but I'm not too sure that goes as well for Holland. Jacare got him down fairly easily which typically doesn't go well for anyone. I don't see that freak KO happening again and I think Holland gets finished fast if he can't stop the takedown.

Prime Jacare has him in a anaconda within the first minute, but the washed 40 year old Souza we've seen lately I see getting slept again.

To be honest Jacare hasn’t displayed great mma sub grappling in a while for me to be sold. A few years ago I would have picked jacare no doubt. But he’s just not that impressive anymore. Earlier his striking also packed a punch.

Honestly he landed an incredibly low-percentage KO, and prior to that was pretty much giving Jacare the fight he wanted. Even right after the fight I couldn't say with absolute certainty that I would confidently pick Holland in a rematch because without that KO it wouldn't be hard to see Jacare just continuing to take him down, and Holland just playing guard with him.
But I do think with Jacare's current state and the fact that Holland does have quick hands and hits hard, there's a solid chance he catches a tired Jacare with something anyway and takes him out.

Jacare gave him too much space when he had him down, he sat postured up to be able to land ground and pound but this enabled Holland to be able to land that crazy punch off of his back that stunned him.
If he fights like Vettori and Brunson did, and doesn't give Holland any space off his back he could definitely win a decision.
Fight seems overall kind of pointless to make though.

True. He could control him though. I think Holland needs some time to work on his takedown defense but it doesnt seem like it will get better unless he moves camp. I think the rematch would be more if Holland improves his takedown defense. We've seen it in fighters befrore but it's been an obvious hole in Hollands game. At one point it seemed like he accepted it but when he didnt he still got taken down. He has no defense for someone who goes for a takedown that fails then switches to a counter.

I want to Jacare gets it, but the way he was ko'ed makes him look so chinny. If he looks alright at 262 vs Andre Muniz then I'd for sure pick him but if that nobody tags him, then I'm sure Holland finishes again.

Jacare was so good, that his washed self can still somewhat compete with these guys that never will be elite.

But man it’s clearly obvious to me he’s lost 2 steps, I’ve seen him completely son a lot better fighters than Holland on the ground and like you said even in his decline he easily got Tds
