Jon Jones will lose his first HW fight and immediately retire.

What thought brought you to make this thread. Are you a jones fan, Jones hater or had jones on your mind, with the countless fighters and matches scheduled on the roster, jon just popped into your head and prompted you to make this thread.

Intrigue?

Who agrees?
sounds about right to me. there's no way he's beating Stipe.. maybe he has a small chance against nganou if he plays a very smart and technical decision victory against someone who has very little skill.

I think one fight at HW, loses then back down to LHW to fight Jan. If he loses then he'll retire, if he wins he'll get a few more defences at 205.

Depends who he fights. I think he would have a harder time with Miocic than with Ngannou.

it really depends on how he carries the new weight. if its 70-80% muscle mass - great, if its mostly fat then no.

I know I’ll get shit for it but Jones should take an intro fight vs Arlovski. Who cares if he’s not top 10 Silva fought Irwin. Andre is an ex HW champ and a good stylistic matchup, would give Jones a chance to experience fighting at that weight + Andre has earned a nice payday. Then go from there.

ben rothwell destroys Jon Jones

that's why Jones will never move to hw

Jones always come with a solid game plan so I doubt he'll lose against a ford escort

By the time they fight, Stipe will be 39 and Jones will be 34. Stipe has been KO'ed twice and dropped or wobbled in at least 5 different fights. Jones has never been KO'ed or even wobbled. Jones will likely outweigh Stipe by 10+ lbs.

(sigh) I don't know...but a girl can dream, right?

JDS with his glass jaw could have been a good test for Jon at HW. To see if Jon with some extra muscle weight can have 1 punch KO power. The reem would have been a great match up to. Econoreem would have won, uberreem en prime JDS also. We will never know, UFC retired both fighters this month.
