And yes this guy was the guy who robbed Vieira blind recently. There were too many just bleed stupids who were defending this guy though *puke*

Try this exercise, think of a robbery, and see if Sal D'Amato was the judge.

What about Chris Lee who scored the fight for Felder (against RDA)

The issue is for a judge's decision to matter, there's always one other judge who had to agree with them.

The only exception is a split draw where none of the judges agreed. It's just hard to say one judge was clearly wrong when 2 out of 3 thought that way.

What a brain dead logic right here. If you make a wrong decision, then it's on you.
Just cuz there might be one other guy who fucked up, doesn't absolve you of the wrongdoing, nor does it give you pass to fuck up and fuck peoples' careers when one loss could be bye bye.

Whether your college fucks up on his job doesn't have any bearing on whether it's okay to fuck up on yours.

someone should compare these fights in a chronological timeline of Sal's bank statements, vehicle/property purchases and luxury vacations

not me though. definitely someone else

He is terrible, but so are many others. For any of those robberies there has to be at least another judge that does the same. Shogun vs Machida 1, Felder vs Barboza, Jacare vs Romero, Jones vs Reyes, all fucked up results without Sal. He should be dumped, but the whole system is broken anyway and that's the main problem. The good thing is that at least it's not at the level of boxing where it's just transparently corrupt.

Based on examples in OP, seems like Derek Cleary is pretty bad too

Look I'm not saying it can't be done, but it's always an uphill climb when you're arguing against what 2 out of 3 or even all 3 judges thought. That's why you've gotta do something like show that 18 out of 20 MMA journalists thought they got it wrong.

As it is I've never heard anything about how the commission reviews or evaluates the judges' performance. And the commissioners have an uphill climb because they probably know less about judging than the professional judges who work for them.
