Media Dustin Poirier's leg getting crippled by Jim Miller's calf kicks (video)

And his legs took an even worse beating vs Gaethje. Takes some ridiculous heart for fight through.

Based on the heart Conor has showed I feel like 2 or 3 kicks from Gaethje would have him faking an injury and tapping out.

Dustin has the heart of a lion. There’s no quit in him.

Conor is the opposite.

Nah, gaethje did more overall damage, but miller fucked up his leg worse. I just saw an interview with Dustin talking about it yesterday. Doctors wanted to cut his calf open to reduce the swelling from those calf kicks by miller

Dont think so

Miller had him really hurt with the calf kick. Rewatch the fight

Yup he would fake an arm injury too since he can't admit defeat.

And yet, he toughed it out for the win. The man has heart.
He was also fighting a guy outside the top 10 who wasn't known for his striking while Conor was fighting the #2 ranked guy who is a striker.

Relax, my friend. Come to grips with the fact that Conor is a .500 fighter at weight.

Miller is such a beast. It’s a shame his grit, will and skill set are the perfect foils for elite fighters to showcase themselves. He’s just a few steps back, unfortunately, and entering the final stage of his career.

Being able to continue after taking those is a toughness thing. Maybe not calf kicks (more thigh), but Faber showed a lot of resilience vs Aldo, who brutalized him with low kicks for 5 rounds. I can't see Conor taking those.

Agreed, but in Conman's defense, he was still hucking some strong counters even while going down and getting picked apart. But yeah, the look in his eyes when Poirier was really letting it go told me that the end was near.
