He was never submitted and has submission wins over:

Cain Velasquez. BJJ black belt Never subbed by anyone except Werdum
Big Nog. Insane credentials in BJJ and black belt judo. Only subbed by Mir and Werdum
Fedor. The Goat, sambo and judo master, strong grappler. Only subbed by Werdum
Overeem. Only subbed by Werdum.
 
His resume of submitting high level fighters is insane. He's also the only guy to submit Overeem
 
i love the werdum, i hope he wins some fights this year. Few years ago i speak a bit with him and even with his mom. Warr werdum

The subs over Big Nog and Fedor were epic, but those guys were meaningfully past their prime. The skill level at HW has been very mediocre for ages.

Khabib submitted guys in their prime in a shark tank weight class. He ran through Conor, Dustin, and Justin like a knife through butter. Dustin had only been submitted 1 other time, much earlier in his career (vs Korean Zombie). Justin had never been submitted.
 
Werdum is very underrated. Hes a dangerous opponent for anybody in the HW division and he always stands more than a chance. Hope to see him get a few more quality wins before he retires

Khabib submitted strikers and mainly from 145. You're proud that he submitted CONOR? lmao. It's just not even close
 
Well, yes. Werdum does have the best track record when it comes to submissions.

Those other fighters you named are also amazing grapplers too though. They are some of the next best guys right under Werdum. No shame in being under Werdum.
 
Not a lot people are gonna argue that Werdum isn’t one of the GOAT grapplers in mma.
 
Don't forget Fedor's brother too who had never been subbed before either if I'm not mistaken.

It's a myth that Fedor was past his prime and it remains one of the biggest wins in MMA history. Nog was past his prime but still one of the best BJJ fighters. Werdum went after him and gobbled him up.

Khabib's subs in terms of quality of opposition doesn't even come remotely close. Like not even in the slightest. You're comparing those guys to All time great Sambo legend Fedor, BJJ legend Nogueira, all time great HW grappler Overeem etc.? Weak try.

At that point only by Barnett and Werdum. Aleks is a three-time Russian national Combat Sambo champion and three-time world Combat Sambo champion as per wiki.

It should also be mentioned that Werdum outgrappled a prime TRT fueled Bigfoot, a near 300 pound legit BJJ blackbelt.

You could have done a better job at listing Werdum's accomplishments.

He submitted HW Gustaffson, which was really satisfying. Werdum is GOAT BJJ specialist at HW, Maia is GOAT P4P because he wins without knowing how to properly throw a punch when Werdum actually has good muay thai (except against Miocic of course).
