I’m not opposed to guys coming off losses getting title shots, like Romero against Adesanya because it was the only option. But giving Conor a title shot off that loss would be ludicrous while there are other rightful contenders. Personally I would like to see Poirier vs Oliveira or Chandler for the title.

Oliveira-Poirier is the fight to make for the title. Conor should probably fight Tony, not only because Tony kind of deserves a big payday for missing the title fight (while accepting other challengers), but also because they are both coming off losses and need to regain momentum.

Oliveira is the logical next title fight, unless Poirier wants to sit out and wait for the winner of Chandler vs Oliveira. I'm ok with either scenario. Gaethje vs Mcgregor makes sense if Mcgregor wants to stay in contention for the title. If not then the Diaz rematch would be a good retirement fight for both guys.
