I almost bought into Dana's sincerity, until he kept talking.
Dana's only real interest is "another big money fight," not Khabib's true wishes or legacy.
If Dana really wants Khabib to fight, then he needs to make the GSP happen, because Khabib's father didn't just want "30-0"; he wanted Khabib to face GSP. (These are also Khabib's wishes.)
If Dana had a brain, he would realize Khabib doesn't give two shits about Conor. Also, if Dana had any integrity, he would articulate that Conor has done nothing to warrant a rematch. Nothing in the first fight and nothing since then, either.
What's also unfortunate is Dana's clear preference of Conor over Poirier. He basically shits on Dustin, and already has written him off.
For Dana, it's all about the money and "a big event," it's not about Khabib at all or what he wishes, which is especially sad considering Khabib's absolute consistency and body of work over Conor's.
Even Dustin Poirier has shown more heart, consistency, and mettle in the trenches than Conor McGregor.
Sickening, really.
