To be fair I just seen the article on bjpenn.com and posted the thread so if its true its sad but shogun got nothing left to prove and if its not true im sure we would all still love to watch him fight

And for the record:
He as not made a decision to retire YET. His decision (so far at least) is to do one last fight and then that’s it. He has also not discussed with me anything differently than that, so I believe Dana was probably misunderstood on the stream, as I couldn’t find any quote.
And also, obviously, we do have a lot of respect for Dana and Shogun has let Dana know his feelings, plus, right now he is just resting and recovering, so whatever happens next is going to be truly decided (as far as one more last fight or not) later.
