How will Israel fair when he defends his forthcoming LHW belt versus #1 contender Glover Teixeira (old man of the division).

Will Israel, a purple belt, be able to submit Glover (an old man) or will he knock Glover out with his legendary Kiwi power.

Or will Glover (an old man) be the one to take Israel Adesanyas 0 and if so how will this effect his other future fight with Jon Jones?

Glover would arguably have the best mma wrestling, top control, and sub game of anyone Izzy has faced. (Before you jump down my throat no I didn’t forget Yoel romero, find me literally any proof that he’s been a dominant mma wrestler in the last 5 fights he’s had and I’ll rest my case).

A guy like Thiago who is huge, strong, very physical was not able to stop Glover. I can only see this going one way for Izzy personally. I doubt the ufc ever makes this matchup though.

The question is how does izzys speed translate to 205. At 185 he’s pretty quick. Sometimes these weight changes work in weird ways. Kind of like how OSP is pretty fast when he wants to be at 205, then he gets to 240 and he looked slower then Big Ben Rothwell. It’s not always apples to oranges, especially in the higher weight classes. We have every reason to believe he’d still be fast, all I’m saying is I want to see it before I assume Izzy is gonna make Glover look like he’s 70

Most likely Izzy sticks and moves and avoids TDs. Glover has never been that fast or a truly elite wrestler (more of a top control BJJ fighter). Now that he's in his 40s, Izzy would run circles around him.

I think it’s his cardio, and I think he never really took the time to become a mixed martial artist in the truest of senses. If you have a guy as strong as Yoel you’d expect him to bully guys in the clinch, and use it to help pace his cardio. But he doesn’t. And he can never hold guys down. I don’t think he ever really got a hang of BJJ. In wrestling guys are still trying to engage with you, flip over, reversal etc. you don’t really see the art of Derrick Lewis’ “how to just stand up in 5 seconds or less”. A lot of guys just want OUT when they get in that spot. And I think that’s where he struggles. He never learned how to keep people down, and capitalize on his efforts in mma. At least that’s how I see it, sounds like you’re in the same boat
