He’s trying to pull a Bones move and I’m not sure he has the power to stand with Jan. Technique maybe but raw power, one clean shot from Jan should put Izzy down, yes? I’m not saying Izzy can’t win, but I don’t think he has the size to compete with the top of the LHW division.

True or false, what is Sherdogs opinion? Izzy might have more speed and technical skills, but does he pose any threat to Jan on the feet KO power wise? I don’t think so. I also don’t think Izzy can avoid every single power strike Jan throws.

Edit also I feel like Adesanya can just reign supreme at MW for a long time. I don’t understand why he’s going up, yet.
 
This fight is a toss-up in my view. Israel is definitely the superior striker but Jan is way stronger, has much heavier hands, and is a very good grappler. Jan's best strategy here is probably a pressure-heavy, bullying one which utilizes clinches and takedowns. If he implements such a strategy, it could be a long night for Israel.

Can't get past Izzy's gyno and the lack of explanation. There is one reason why adult male athletes get gyno.

He is more than capable of KOing Jan and I suspect that he will win.

I ageee that Jan is gping to try and make it an ugly, grinding, maybe even boring fight, against the wall and lookin for the td. Power to him cuz Izzy has made it clear that hes willing to pull off stinkers as long as he gets the W.
 
I don’t think Izzy has too much to lose here as long as the fight is competitive. Worst case he loses he has a built in excuse in that he’s fighting the much larger man goes back down and continues to dominate MW until he feels like he wants to try again in a couple fights

Because Izzy and Bones have beef and Bones moved up in weight to try and capture the HW title, so Izzy did the same thing but he sped up the timeline and is fighting for the belt before Jones because Jones isn't ready for HW yet. So Izzy probably wants to be champ champ before Bones so he can keep talking shit to Bones and keep trying to bait him into a future fight.

If Izzy and Bones both become champ champ their future fight will be bigger than ever especially with their prolonged beef.
