If I remember correctly Vera was actually getting the better of the striking exchanges on the feet, but got absolutely crushed on the ground. (Bongos lmaoo)

That's what made him scary. I count myself a fan, but anybody who juices for a fight is being reckless with his opponent's health. On top of that, those "bongos" could have ruptured Vera's eardrum; it's a really dirty technique.
