Rogan said that the heavyweight division is lucky that the dude who trade to trademark Taco Tuesday is a basketball player instead of an MMA fighter. After watching some video of Lebron playing basketball, I think Rogan might be right.
One skill that is rare in MMA is mastery of rolling with punches - being able to move so as to keep hits from actually doing any damage. Anderson Silva in his prime was a master of this. Jon Jones is also exceptional at it. In his entire career, he's only had a handful of punches land solidly on him.
But as rare as that skill is in MMA, Lebron James already has it, and he's never even had a pro fight. If he switched over to MMA, nobody would be able to touch him. Check out this next level stuff:
His ability to sense touch and use movement to avoid impact is Ido Portal-esque. This guy's defense is impregnable. I mean, seriously, nobody would be able to impregnate it.
