So I watch more MMA than is reasonably healthy and thought I'd help any Sherbros suffering from MMA withdrawal by posting what are some of the best fights of the last year that took place outside the UFC for your viewing pleasure. I'm only posting ones on Youtube for now and will post a list of Fight Pass recommendations for those that have it later for your LFA, Cage Warriors, CFFC and Invicta suggestions.

Feedback on what you thought of the fights/fighters welcome.

I'm going to start with New Years Eve '19 fights because this year was cut short by covid and it was probably new year in Australia when these took place anyway.



First up is a solid 5 round war between 2018 PFL Lightweight season champion Natan Schulte and Loik Radhzabov in the Lightweight final with a million dollar prize on the line.






Next up is a fast paced slugfest on Rizin's New Years Eve show between former TUF finalist Hiromasa Ougibuko and Shintaro Ishiwatari




Next we move to Brazil for the Future FC fight between Marcos Sorriso and Robson Punk from January. This isn't the most skilled affair, but these boys came to bang.




Next we're off to Russia and ACA to watch a true just bleed disciple in Ramazan Kishev take on Brazilian Otavio Dos Santos

I went through a phase of watching loads of ONE and one of the things I loved was the ref yelling "action!" whenever there was a break in the fighting.

Next up there was a bit of an issue with a thing called Covid 19 which you may have heard of, but we return in September to a bunch of exciting ACA fights. First up Ramazan Kishev returns to this time take on Kurban Taigibov



Next up is one of my absolute favourite fights of the year in this fast paced ACA manlet battle between Mansur Khatuev and Azum Gafurov



Then there was another great fight on the same card between Bekhruz Sukhurov and Tural Raigimov



Then yet another fight on the same card between Alexey Butorin and (I'll attempt to spell this) Assylzhan Bakhytzhanuly

Now we'll chuck a good battle between two Japanese vets in there in Yusuke Yachi and Jiri Ohara



Then I was going to throw Daniel Oliveira Vs Abdul Rakhman Dudaev in there but @EndlessCritic posted that one so check that out on his post.

Instead we'll move onto a FW title fight in ONE between champion Martin Nguyen and former TUF/DWCS fighter Thanh Le



Then we'll go for a good WW title scrap from the same card between champion Kiamran Abbosov and challenger James Nakashima

Next we'll go back to ACA for a manlet title fight between champion Azamat Kerefov and challenger Kurban Gadzhiev



And finally for now a big roidy juicehead ACA fight between Magomed Ismailov and Ivan Shtrykov

Nice list! If you're interested in someone who might be a future UFC star, I recommend checking out Morgan Charriere's last fight. He put on a clinic to win the vacant Cage Warriors featherweight belt against Perry Andre Goodwin.

Yeah this was a fun one. Bellator fights mostly weren't very good this year (either boring or one sided). The other one worth watching I can think of is Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) Vs Brandon Colton, which wasn't very skilled at all but was an enjoyable big boys slugfest.
