When both enter the Octogon in January it will be 6 years and 4 month since their first. Very interesting to see how much stronger mentally Poirier is today. This fight is all about mental warfare and coming fight week Mcgregor will talk all kind if trash talk and Conor got the upper hand.

You better be strong mentally when you face Conor look at Diaz and Khabib. Very hyped for this fight.

Where's the fight? I thought it was a free fight video?

EDIT: There's the video, thanks TS!

Poirier was having better success than Conor until the KO. Conor was just throwing a bunch of flashy kicks while getting boxed up.

Edit: Before all the Conor lovers @ me, obviously Conor getting outboxed didn’t matter in the end, but it’s still worth mentioning.

Hmm the win was sorta flukey, Dustin ducked and got clipped behind the year which pretty much shut him down. So it was Dustin's fault. But idk if this happen again, I think Dustin will avoid a similar finish. In hindsight, it doesn't look like Dustin did too bad for the minute and half before the knockout.

Conor doesn't do as many kicks or flashy moves anymore, and his boxing has improved. Both will be more durable at 155 but both will also have more power. At 155lb I think Conors cardio will be good for at 3 rounds instead of the so called 2 rounds. That happened at 170lb against Nate who is durable as hell. Conor didn't look like he broke a sweat or was anywhere close to gassing against Eddie Alvarez in the 2 round fight

uhh? Poirier landed like 2 punches that did nothing and a few leg kicks. Conor seemed to control and pressure the whole time and even landed a pretty big left before the KO sequence. I would agree that the fight was almost even until the KO but no way did Poirier have an advantage
