I was thinking about who is a marketable opponent for Shogun's last fight and I think Ed is the guy. Being in the promotion since 2006, last fighter left from TUF3 and a 3 fight win streak should match up well with the twilight version of Shogun we are seeing now.

I think Shogun gets the finish here and Herman gets a legend open his resume. Would watch! Book it Dana.

Shogun needs the boot. He’d probably just go overseas and get KO’d for another few years though.

Herman is a winnable fight! Makes sense for both men.
No, no fight "makes sense" for Shogun. he needs to hang them up. Winnable fights or not. its not about that. there will always be "winnable" fights if a shot fighter is willing to lower themselves enough

Idk, but i hope for the sake of pride fc that shogun just retires

I disagree, Shogun is on a one fight losing streak and a warrior of his nature should be able to leave on his own terms given his overall performances the past few years have been UFC worthy. He isn't getting KO'ed 3 times in a row like some fighters near the end of his career. I would agree with you if that was the case.

I think the UFC missed the boat with Anderson having one fight left on his contract. Shogun vs Anderson should have been made for both of their final UFC fights.

I love Herman. Its a good fight but I don't want to see either lose

Shogun in his prime would demolish Ed in his prime but..

Shogun should still win but...

Possibly Herman by chin..
