Odd they’re so insistent on this fight. I don’t know the details though. But I would guess they probably see Edwards as the easiest fight in the top 5 to fast track Chimaev. Add in potentially bumping Edwards down, who is boring and not a draw and could be a big win for them promotion-wise.
