After he got beat by Brunson the hype train tipped over and since I've not heard a thing about him.
He's just 23 years old.
There are lots of good options for him at 185. Alot of those options are booked.
I dont know what they will or should do with Edmen next.

But Sherdog is full of smart people, so I assume you guys can give me an answer.

It's certainly an interesting question. Taking a look at who's beating whom around the back of top 15 and the fringe, maybe Krystof Jotko or something?

Brendan Allen (another young MW) whenever he is ready to get back in the octagon.

This is a fair matchup for Edmen, as he isn't going to be fighting up coming off a loss, but will still get an opponent just outside the rankings who he matches up relatively even with; Edmen having a striking advantage and Allen having the grappling advantage but both being more than capable of knocking out/submitting one another.

Kelvin Gastelum.
Kelvin is fighting Heinisch in February. That would be a real tough matchup for Edmen after the beating he took by Brunson, he needs a step back in competition. Someone like Krzysztof Jotko makes sense, they were scheduled to fight at one point but it fell through.

A high ranked or unranked opponent would be good for him, give him some time

Krtstof maybe or perhaps Ian heinch. Uriah hall if they want a more favorable striking battle against a ranked opponent but I’m always rooting for hall so I hope not.

back to the 10-25 rank gauntlet who knows if he will evolve to become a real contender? I doubt it, I feel he will drop off into obscurity like Jury
