He might not have won the belt but he have a lot of good wins and will likely wins many more, also many of his losses are either close or controversial

- Geof Neal: Legit 1 punch KO artist on a great streak
- Luque: Killer on a great streak as well
- Masvidal: During his resurection
- McDonald: one of the best WW of his time that was minutes away from being the champ
- Hendricks: uncrowned champ by many at that point
- Whittaker: despite being young at that time is still a solid win

He brutally finished them and those that survived were totally outclassed

Losses:
Pettis: Was winning until a fluke shot, he wins that 9/10
Woodley: arguably beat him twice
Till: hometown robbery, very Bisping esque
Brown: Made a just bleed saint go full panic wrestler, he was a kid also.

Probably the fighter with the biggest case of being an uncrowned champ

Pettis: Was winning until a fluke shot, he wins that 9/10
There are no fluke shots, anything can happen in a fight especially between two elite combat athletes as the fights not over until its over which is the whole point is it not.

Depends how you define ATG but in my opinion absolutely. One of the best to not win the belt along with Romero, Tony and a few others.

The Pettis fight hurt his cause. He got KO'd by a LW who is out of his prime. Very good, fringe great fighter but so far hasn't gotten over the hump. Brown was early in his career so I give that one a pass.

Pettis set that shot up the whole fight and it worked perfectly. No fluke, established a pattern the broke then pattern.

He already is and if he wins the belt he could be a Top 5 WW ever

Depends on what you consider all time great, if you mean top 10 all time at WW probably not, if he wins the belt yes.

Greasy P
Matt Hughes
Lawler
Woodley
Usman
Shields

All ahead of him. He's kind of a condit level guy if you consider him an a time great

ATG? I love wonderboy but no, WW has had plenty of excellent fighters and champs from gsp to Hughes but I wouldn’t consider WB an ATG WW. Is he an excellent fighter with a great career? Yes. Is he one of the best strikers we’ve seen? Yes arguably so. However he has not won a belt, he was very close but couldn’t steal it. Now you don’t need a belt to be a great of a division but he didn’t have an incredible win streak like Tony had at LW. I think of him as a great contender at his peak who’s career will be remembered well due to his masterclasses in striking and likeable personality but he isn’t quite an ATG imo. He could get there if he can nab the belt or beat a few top 5 guys soon.

He's good but he should have gone up to MW when Whittaker was champ. He already KOd him instead he got blacked by Twood twice. It's an unspoken rule you can't complain in a fight you get dropped. He was dropped in all his losses so I say they're legit. 2nd best karate fighter besides Machida

According to FightMatrix he's only #14 in the all time WW rankings

That's probably where he belongs right now. If he's able to beat another top contender and then win a belt, he'll at least crack the top 7

He's "up there among the best of them" but obviously not in contention for THE best.

But if you mean like a HOFer then sure

He is obviously very good.
But he had the chance to elevate into the ATGs. Twice, against Woodley. He failed.
