News comes from RT Sport, which cites sources close to the situation that the January 20 main event “will no longer go ahead.” No official reason has been given for the removal. Swedish outlet Front Kick, who was the first to report on the cancellation, suggested that the issue this time around was from the Sweden-based Chechen in Chimaev.

The UFC has yet to confirm the cancellation, so it is unclear at this point what they plan to do with Edwards and the event that is now without a headliner.

UFC normally either gets a replacement or bumps up bouts to main event status, and this undercard also has two interesting welterweight bouts in Michael Chiesa vs Neil Magny and Carlos Condit vs Matt Brown. This is also part of three planned “Fight Island” cards in eight days to start the UFC’s 2021 campaign, so the change could also cause some shuffling between those events.

EDIT: *UPDATE*

Khamzat tested positive for Covid

What kind of sentence is that?
<WhatIsThis>

”You know the grey matter and some chemical reactions in the body of Roy Jones Jr. have held the metacarpal-phalangeal joints, corpus and ulna plus radius of Forrest Griffin in high regard, Joe”

Probably because of the new version of Covid going on the in the UK, Khamzat probably got Covid for real this time

After he recovers, time for Holland to eat his words and get smeshed. Leon can fight the winner of Usman/Burns

Is this the same site that reported he was out last time too before he had to himself clear it all up on Twitter? Imma wait on this till UFC or Brett confirm it.

I generally go with Marcel Dorff, he usually seems to be reliable.

Chimaev turning from anyone, anytime, anywhere to the typical Dagestan pullout merchant.
There should be a reason that why he pulled out and i think it could be be an injury if not COVID
