Is there anything more pathetic than strikers complaining about "Crotch Sniffing" ?

Usually to goad wrestlers to stand with them and not utilize their wrestling...

Looking at you Conor and Masvidal...

Wrestling is the most ancient martial art and the most effective in a real 1v1 fight, if you get taken down on a hard surface, you're dead.

Then we got these pussies pretending that it's "not real fighting" because they can't grapple to save their lives.

Perhaps they should GTFO and Kickbox somewhere else. This is MMA, if you let another man grabs and manhandles you, it's because you're an inferior fighter, and you should thank God your head is being slammed on a soft surface inside the cage instead of the pavement in a real fight.

Black beast and ngannou should’ve been put knee to knee. There’s never a reason to stand fighters. Get out or you’re being dominated. It’s as easy as that. I don’t care how “boring” it seems to people who don’t appreciate grappling. Imagine stopping someone that’s just teeing off on someone. That’s the equivalent to dominating the grappling and not being able to get free.

While grappling is one of the most important forms of combat, it's not exactly entertaining. In real life theres no being saved by the bell. That guy thats outgrappling you could snap your arm in half, crush your windpipe etc. Pretty much your his or her bitch.

But in sport yeah, its boring to watch at times. I dont like it when i see grapplers who have trained most of their lives to be able to dominate another human on the ground, only get booed or called a crouch sniffer for doing it. But its a promotion, people want strikes.

Think of everything a grappler can't do on the ground in the ufc, that in a street fight he or she could actually do. Thats really the issue, most of these guys in the street would just start dropping elbows to the back or front of your head, bashing your brains out.

I enjoyed TUF through the "live" TUF episodes they had in like 2012. Then I stopped watching.

Yeah it was really hard to watch but the best fighters on the show were able to rise to the top without having to worry about Dana interfering or telling them they weren't exciting enough.

The way most of these contracts are awarded now is essentially who is willing to stand and bang in Dana's eyes as well as who is marketable. Anyone that actually thinks they are truly looking for the best talent through these Contender Series signings is deluded.

I mean where are we drawing the line in a street fight?
You willing to risk getting shanked to go for a blast double?
I get what you mean tho

It's a pathetic excuse by strikers who can't make it in the highest level of boxing/kickboxing.

To Masvidals point, he has said numerous times that he is against "Lay n Pray", but he enjoys grapplers like Khabib and Matt Hughes because they smash or go for submissions. Meanwhile Conor complains about Khabib's grappling but he himself will shoot for takedown when things arent going his way (against Nate, against a boxer he was sparring)

I've never seen Adesanya complain about it, because instead of complaining and bitching, he works on TDD.

Wasn't Conor McGregor the first guy "to go for a takedown" the second he believed Nate Diaz was going to knock him out in their first fight?

The truth is, the supposedly "hard-core striker," Conor McGregor, actually prefers grappling, because he knows it's the easiest way to quit without actually getting hurt or knocked out.

Agree with your point but if a grappler is dumb enough to fall for that shit and stand with a striker then they deserve the loss. Part of combat is mind games, and goading your opponent into fighting on your playing field is just smart. But yeah people who think it's cowardly or weak or whatever are fucking dumb and don't know combat let alone combat sports.
