Is the gap between Khabib and his foes the widest in any division?

I remember Silva was almost like that but then again he got finished by little Japanese guys and also Shale destroyed him until he got subbed! Has there anyone fighter who became more dominant every fight? I think Cain was on his way but then he got injured, anyone else comes to mind?

Francis is up there too, same with Usman as what we've seen so far.

Then there's Wmma.. shevchenko and nunez and Zhang

Ronda looked unbeatable until all of a sudden she didn't. Anderson was on a tear until all of a sudden he wasn't. G.S.P. didn't let anyone get close to him until Hendricks proved he could be touched. I don't think anybody has ever retired with as wide as gap as Khabib did, but quite a few maintained it for a while.

I'd say yes, with only WMMA champs Valentina and Nunes being on par.

He is a much better overall MMA grappler than any of the grapplers in the division, and his Threat of takedown will allow him to strike and even outstrike the best strikers. And he can probably outstrike any grapplers that he deems may be a threat on the ground. His unconvential striking defense is underrated. The only way to beat him is likely through a lucky KO, but the guy has quite a chin.

If Khabib had got a title shot after his first fight in the UFC like Anderson did he would have had those many title defences as well

Always a story behind numbers
If my aunt had a penis she would be my uncle

That's what you get when you're a good wrestler in a division full of strikers. Keep in mind he's a WW killing himself to make LW, like Conor is a LW killing himself to make FW..... Difference being Conor actually made weight at FW all the time without ever being hospitalized.

He's a better grappler than anyone he has fought, but the best grapplers at 155 aside from Khabib are; Oliviera, Dariush, CDF, Gillespie, & Islam. So we'll never know how good Khabib's grappling is as he only fought counter-snipers, boxer-punchers, & out-fighters. RDA is the loan legit blackbelt that he fought, but RDA is strictly a takedown + top-game grappler. Not a great scrambler & not at all creative off his back.
