Because Overeem is Overeem and the longer Jon Jones has to stay tow to toe with Overeem and especially in clinch the bigger issues he will have

But I guess Ufc would never risc Jon Jones first loss against Overeem

Your predictions if that fight would happen?

Why should Jones wait in line in a dilapidated division???

If anything they should all be thanking him for taking the time of day to save that slopfest.

why? fighting overeem has zero upside for JBJ. He wins, he beat a "has been". He loses, "He needs to stay at LHW"

It would make more sense for him to fight Brock Lesnar than that... but it would make even more sense for him to fight Werdum. If you're gonna go that route.

You should petition to be Jones manager if you feel he is not being managed well enough for you. Send him a message on his Instagram saying you want to apply to be his personal manager and tell us what he says.

I like it. And lets be honest, if Jon can't get past Overeem, he doesnt belong at HW.

It would be amazing to see Overeem obliterate Jones. But Jones would probably win if I had to put money on it.

Lesnar is a bigger has been than overeem and lost to reem. Makes less sense.

A fight with werdum would be decent but jbj wins me thinks. Werdums standup is shit and he cant take jones down.

That seems like a good matchup on paper. Good for Reems chin and not too dangerous fight for Jones.

Also if Stipe wins in Ngannou, rematch, no way he fights as soon as Summer. So it could potentially be long off time for Jon

I like it more than him going straight for a title fight.

If he wins or lose against Stipe or Ngannou, he's done. Won't fight again at HW.

Would like to see if he can climb up the ladder with some two fights. Would be more exciting.

If any fighter ever deserved an instant title shot it would be Jon Jones.

And Jon and Overeem have trained together. Overeem injured Jon's knee in wrestling practice taking him down.
