Should Tony Ferguson be Cut or One more Chance?

Don't be ridiculous. He has a 12 fight win streak over 6 years in the deepest division in the UFC, and then loses a couple to elite top 5 fighters, and you ask if he should be cut? No chance.
 
Lol I pretty much hate Tony (as far as mma) but he absolutely should in no way shape or form be cut. That is idiotic.

I wanna see Tony vs Poirier first. In theory Tony should be able to pull this off.

How so? I feel like Poirier is would be the worst opponent for Tony, stylistically. He has the cardio and conditioning to keep up with Tony over multiple rounds, and he's a powerful puncher. I think a more winnable for Tony is Dan Hooker, or maybe another lightweight with questionable cardio.

I like that idea! I'm not sure if Tony would be fed to Islam, but it would be a great test to see how good Islam actually is.

No Islam is where he's suppose to be fighting Dober. Then with a win 5-10 ranked opponent. Then we can start talking about top 5 fight. Of course if he isn't fights once a year people will leap frog him in rankings and high profile fight opportunities.
 
Ferguson is one of the most exciting fighters on the roster, whether he's kicking ass or getting his ass kicked.

Fighters like that tend to stick around in the UFC. Look at Gaethje. Hell look at Perry.
 
Let them allow 3 more contenders to make a name off him before deciding that.
 
Keep the man! But i don´t see him fighting for the belt anymore tho.

Exactly Niklaus. Either way let him bang for his remaining contracted bouts. In addition it may humble him a bit to lose again or reenergize him to come up with new interesting ways to win. As cheech said in from dusk til dawn, if you can find cheaper pussy anywhere...., f**k it. Ok maybe that doesn't apply here but for some reason all these chats about fighter cuts made me think of that. Ha!!!
 
I mean, how can you even ask this question seriously. If Tony should be cut, by that logic 90% of the roster should be cut. You need fighters to run a promotion
