Dillashaw drilling the Aldo combo with Bang

Dillasnake has forgotten that you can't block like that in MMA gloves. He isn't moving his head at all.

But apart from that, he looks good. Excited to sssseeee his return, he is so fun to watch.

I really love Dillashaw's stand up game, his performance against Barão was legendary, Im excited for his comeback! Hope the lack of Peds don't waste him, kek.

It's always hard to assess a match up when one fighter has been out so long. And Dillashaw looked so bad against Cejudo.

But if Dillashaw is anywhere close to his best form, I think he's too fast for Aldo after the first round or so.

You can't parry punches in MMA?

It's a drill, not sparring?

Lol, I know, but you don't want to drill bad habits into your striking.

He knows what he is doing, and he is a great striker, but this particular drill I don't like much defensively.

I think they're just having fun drilling. Plus, it was fine. He circled out after the end of a sequence and feinted into the sequences. His head was off the centerline when kicking. It'd be annoying if he just started dodging punches during what is essentially padwork.

Hmm, different strokes for different folks I guess. I personally prefer when coaches try to incorporate head movement into their pad work.
As I say though, Dillashaw is a fucking brilliant striker, so he should keep doing whatever he wants to do.
