5 fights, including Leon vs Khamzat, has been scrapped due to Covid.

With the cancellation of the original main event, Edwards vs Chimaev, 4 more bouts have been called off from Saturday's UFC Fight Night due to positive COVID-19 tests, the promotion announced.

Rick Glenn was removed from his lightweight bout against Carlton Minus. Christos Giagos, who has yet to compete in 2020, will step in for Glenn at a 160-pound catchweight.

Karl Roberson withdrew from his middleweight tilt against Dalcha Lungiambula. The bout was originally scheduled for UFC 256 on Dec. 12 but was canceled after Roberson tested positive for the virus.

Additionally, the welterweight bout between Belal Muhammad and Dhiego Lima was scrapped and will be rescheduled at a later date. The bantamweight fight pitting Aiemann Zahabi against Drako Rodriguez was also cancelled.

Would have been a good fight but there’s plenty on the card thankfully

Will we at least get to see Karl get yelled at in a hotel again?

Still a great FN card. Pettis was a nice addition.

Pretty bizarre how many fighters test positive every week. Must be around 5-10% who get Covid during fight week. I understand it's hard to make an effective bubble, but its almost like everyone in Vegas is contaminated and as soon as you stick you nose outside the hotel, ur fucked.

Dang, probably would have been a fun fight. But this card is still great without it.

I won't be sad to see an end to 2020. I just hope we see some kind of normalcy worldwide at some point in 2021.

I had to spend 5 hours in the hospital Emergency Dep't last night, and it's crazy how different that experience was than it would have been one year ago.

I think alot more of the population has it then we realize we're just not getting tested unless we have symptoms. I work at the airport and coworkers have been going out at an alarming rate. Most have been just fine though but one guy almost died and a few folks have lost their parents to it although they were elderly.

In in the hospital right now and I can identify with that. Shit is weird. I believe 2021 will only get worse with more infections, a higher death rate plus more government control (they will take away from of our freedoms and rights)

You have to book 17 fights on a card just to end up with 12 on Fight Night smh

You hit the nail on the head

People don't realize just how many people would test positive if they went to randomly get tested

They should have multiple tests with all the false positive tests and all. But every time you test "positive" they count that as another "Case". Still plenty of good fights on the card though thankfully.
