Conor McGregor, a former Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) featherweight and lightweight champion, is preparing his return to the ring in the Algarve.

Photos of the 32-year-old Irishman running up the wooden stairway of Lagos’ Camilo beach were posted on his social media pages this Wednesday (December 16).
Lagos Council has since shared the photos on its Facebook page.

“Who would have thought that the emblematic stairway of this dream beach would be used for a power sprint of this reputed athlete?” wrote the council.

UK newspaper The Sun reported last month that the fighter was “relaxing at a £10,000-a-week luxury villa” in the Algarve during lockdown.

McGregor has apparently decided to remain in the Algarve while he prepares for his return to UFC fighting

The Irish fighter had announced his retirement early this year, but is now due to make his eagerly-anticipated return on January 23, 2021 versus Dustin Poirier.

McGregor is the biggest pay-per-view (PPV) draw in MMA history, having headlined five out of the six highest-selling UFC pay-per-view events.

For those who dont Know Algarve in south of Portugal is a very well Known destination of Great Britan Citizens and many of them are Long Term residents there.

Both he and Dustin will come in great shape, that's for sure. Let's hope the fight lasts a bit longer than the first one.

Conor by KO RD1
As much as I'm not a fan I think this will be the case.

Dustin gets hit far too easy and he doesn't seem like the kind of guy whose willing to come in with a game plan built around surviving the first 2 rds while slowly putting in the work (Jabbing, leg kicks, body shots (kicks and punches) then picking up the pace.

Dustin is Game but I have a feeling that'll he'll get caught in an exchange, get stunned and then conor will jump on him and get a TKO (conor's power is way overrated).

Also, it's hilarious how much hyperbole and outright bullshit surrounds conor.

Trying to make him out to be some great hero - heroes' don't beat up old men or be under investigation for rape.
