Tony was a sitting duck after his arm got hyper extended.

Too early to call Tony's career over?

Huge Tony fan here, I just don't want to see him slide further down. I don't want to call it too fast like so many Sherbros do, but maybe it's time. He gave us some great fights. Let's not see him become a Diego Sanchez.

I dont think he is completely done but looks like gaetje's punches softened him a little.

I think Tony showed how good his grappling is, he defended every sub attempts even after getting his arm nearly broken. However Tony was looking bad, mainly because of the lack of confidence imo. He looked very "shy". Justin clearly took his soul. Tony should take it back and move up again but at the age of 36 it ain't easy to gain confidence again after that kind of beating

That arm bar definitely did some damage. 99.999999999% of fighters would have tapped.

To be fair, other than the armbar and a couple slams this fight was pretty easy on him. Do Bronx did not manage to finish him or inflict any serious damage, in fact Tony had quite a few submission attempts as well. I don't get all the splurging.

Seemed to me that Tony was done as soon as he walked into the cage.. That armbar was nasty as hell and definitely altered the rest of the fight, but just from the beginning of the opening bell DoBronx seemed to be the superior fighter. Hopefully Tony can get back on track and not completely shot..

Charles had a chance for another armbar in R3, but he just let it go. He knew Tony won't gonna tap and didn't want to break his arm.

Tony is done, his days as a top contender are over. He showed us that when he looked like shit against Gaethje. This loss confirms he has lost his edge.

Last night was a good example of why people thought the doctor intervening in that Macey Barber fight was weird. Surely it was obvious that Tony’s arm was compromised yet there was no pause for an on the spot medical diagnosis

Ferg is always a slow starter. The armbar sealed his fate though. Nothing he could do following that.

He got saved by the bell with that armbar. Literally a second more and his arm would be hanging limp

True, props to Tony for not tapping to that armbar. But Oliveira clearly had the fight won after that first round.

Agree. I was glad Charles didn't have 5 more seconds though because I didn't want the fight to end that quickly.

At least we know Olivera could never make Tony tap. He also got caught in a triangle.

Tonys defense and ground game is still pretty good
