The title pretty much sums it up. Don't let this Oliveira win cloud your mind. I still think Islam Makhachev would be a real problem for Charles.

I knew tony was never the same after that leg surgery when i saw him coming back in few months getting knocked down by pettis and having a competitive fight with cowboy
I thought it was crazy people still think he had a shot against khabib despite all of that
Stop with all this fuckin logic and common sense.i'd say it has more to do with tony not being able to dictate where the fight takes place. his offensive wrestling is nonexistent.
so gaethje, who was better boxer, could light him up on the feet without being afraid of any grappling exchanges. oliveira, who was the better ground fighter, could put him there and clown him.
nothing has really changed with tony. he's just facing people who know how to exploit the holes in his game.
Man all the pettis fight did is get people amped the fuck up to see Tony take on the winner of the main event that nightI knew tony was never the same after that leg surgery when i saw him coming back in few months getting knocked down by pettis and having a competitive fight with cowboy

I believe Khabib would be much more durable in a five round fight. Oliveira would not be able to endure Khabib's insane pace for five rounds. Khabib is a master on the ground and can hold you down for long periods of time.Tony is still great, it's just that Gaethje has better striking and Oliveira is better at literally everything. Ferguson vs Khabib would have been an awesome fight, but Oliveira is a much bigger threat to Khabib than Ferguson has ever been.

Underrated posti'd say it has more to do with tony not being able to dictate where the fight takes place. his offensive wrestling is nonexistent.
