Dos Santos
Jacare
Ferguson
All three are in their late 30s (or 40 in Jacare's case), and have taken a tonne of damage over the past couple of fights.
I think Dos Santos and Jacare need to seriously consider hanging their gloves up - they have done so much, for so long, they will forever be remembered as some of the greatest to ever do it.
I think Ferguson still has gas in the tank, but he came back too quickly after the Gaethji fight. To see him get out grappled and outworked was insane - I thought there was a chance of him losing, but on the feet.
Oliveira is such a beast and finally realizing his potential. I remember when he first came onto the scene that he was being hyped as a future champion... and then he got knee barred by Jim Miller. Alternating wins and losses made him seem like a talented but inconsistent fighter, but God damn has that guy flipped a switch. It's crazy to think he is only 31, considering he had his first match in the UFC in 2010. I think he would be favored against any 155lber outside of Gaethji right about now (and even then, he would give Justin fits on the ground and on the feet).
Great card, but I am genuinely bummed out that three fan favorites lost. Father time remains undefeated.
