Don't gimme that "without the point deduction" crap. Without the eyepoke and the kick to the groin, Moreno would be in better shape going into round 5 and it may have gone even better for him.

They obviously need to run this one back after the draw. And after that, there are definitely other legit contenders waiting in the wings... If Askarov beats Joe B he'll absolutely 100% deserve a title shot. And the winner of Pantoja/Kape will be a legit contender too. Not to mention Cody moving down. Lots of good talent in the FLW division now. If CCC comes back it'll be at 135 or 145, unlikely that he'll ever make 125 again.

Cejudo was the lineal flyweigjt champion, double 135 champion, and former Olympian. He sway more marketable especially on ESPN than Moreno. As well as being a better fighter

True, I think Dana did say a lot of stuff about a few guys because he was trying to force them to come back and “defend their honor”, like when he was insinuating that GSP was scared of didn’t want to fight. He seems like he could take or leave Cejudo.
