Cyril Gane gained a lot of fans tonight

I'm a fan of Gane now. Very humble, great performance and KO and response to everything that followed.

JDS is a legend at HW basically, I'm a fan of his as well. But obviously that was Overeem "I felt a tap" level cringe, if not worse than that. Gane reacted very well twice to JDS right after and then Rogan's interview.

He seems like a nice guy... but I can't imagine the JDS win will do much for him at this point, name recognition aside.

JDS didn't look the same... at all. Cool win I guess but when your opponent is that much of a ghost/timid there's only so much you can squeeze from that.

He seems like a laid back, cool dude. I would not have been so chill if the guy I KO ‘ed was making a stink like that right after the fight. This is coming from a JDS fan too by the way.

He looked good. I wasn’t sold on him before the fight and I’m not 100% on the wagon yet but he looked good vs the best opponent he has faced yet. The only caveat would be JDS playing Gane’s game, standing at kicking range. In any case, great performance and he dealt with the controversy well.
