Then we can say his chances at the belt are gone. My mind tells me Tony will destroy Charles, but I have some doubts and these are due to Tony’s mentality that he can beat his foe at his own game which is not a good plan really. What is your intuition telling you?

Tony will win, but never get's a shot. Khabib may or may not come back. If he doesn't, Conor get's a shot against an easy match up, maybe Cerrone II

My intuition is telling me that Ferguson will never fully recover from that beating in the Gaethje fight.
That is a fact, but whether it affects his career or just his later years, we don't know yet. I heard he hadn’t sparred for years, up untill the Gaethje training camp. Isn't that odd?

Tony Ferguson

Went from break dancing to just breaking down

No más no más lol

Vamos do Bronx!
Nows your time.

I think Tony should win, unless he is just completely shot from the damage he sustained from Gaethje. I don't believe Oliveira hits all that hard, so I think his best chance will be to submit Tony which I just don't see happening. I could be wrong though as Charles is definitely the best submission artist Tony has fought.

Any chance of the fabled Bibby v Fergy hinges on this fight

i dont see charles beating tony in any scenario tbh

Olivera is better everywhere. Obviously not as tough as Tony, but if Olivera keeps his head in it then he out classes Tony tonight. Another terrible match up for Tony at the top of the division

Tony's been dropped before by guys that don't hit hard. Difference is when Charles drops you, he finds your neck before you're even recovered.

Win or lose it's hard to bounce back from a beat down and being that he's almost 37 years old, the chances are even slimmer. You don't just wake up tomorrow and forget about it all. No, you have to fight through it to gain exp and confidence again. If there is one thing we can all agree on it's that time isn't on Tonys side anymore

I like Oliveira, and as a fan, I'd like to see him win. Decided to wager on Tony though. We'll see, should be fun.

Tony is gonna have his hands full with DoBronx...
His BJJ isnt better than DoBronx...
MuayThai is fucking slick...
About the same size...

Crazy...Tony had this fucking run and looked nasty.

Goes on a 12-0 run....loses 1...and is now backed against the wall if wants another shot at the belt...

I agree, if he loses he is never seeing that titleshot again. Would be such a shame, considering he was stripped of his interim title, and had the balls to fight Pettis, Cowboy and Justin (short notice) when he should've been promised a shot at the real belt.

I hope he wins tonight and I think he will. If Khabib is really retired, I feel like the best move would be to have the belt disputed between the winner of (Tony-Oliveira) vs. the winner (Conor-Dustin)

Chandler vs. Gaethje should be the comain event of 257, and the winner gets the next shot.

Win or lose he will join Cerrone as the gatekeepers to never win a strap, still will put on exciting fights until his back is all curled up walking with a stick to his taxi.
