Bellator president Scott Coker didn't reveal much on how he came to sign Rumble, and White was reluctant to share, too.

Listen, we love the guy,” White told reporters. “I have a great relationship with him, I’ve always liked him, never had any problems with him other than some weight cutting issues back at 170 (pounds). He’s a great guy, we love him, we’d love to have him here, but it’s probably better for him to go somewhere else.”

When pushed for more information on the topic, White refused to share additional details. He said those are questions for Johnson himself to answer.

He does want to be with the UFC,” White said. “It just didn’t work out. Ask him. That’s his business, not mine.”

I'm left with no real alternative but to think it's USADA related. He could re-enter the pool and declare the peds he's taken recently. But if the levels don't drop, or even go up, that's a no no. At which point he'd only have one choice.

Whatever. And I don't care who you are, or what you achieve. The minors are the scrub leagues, after you've been in the show.

You're right...he should have gone to the ufc where he can fight a bunch of amatures coming off their 4th win on DWCS

Going to Bellator, Rumble won't have to fight under USADA, will have lesser competition, and will surely have a better paycheck every fight. The only think he won't have a chance to get is a UFC belt, which obviously doesn't bother him that much. He just want to KO people, which is fine for me.

lol Its not USADA. If it was USADA Dana would make sure we all know just to taint Rumble's future achievements.

he re-entered the USADA pool in July...

I doubt it's money related, he already had a contract.
