LOL that's hilarious that its a backup situation . I knew he was going to fight gaethje. Gaethje didn't just start doing press out of no where for no reason. He's been hiding for a month and a half.

Maybe they'll weigh-in to fight, but won't actually fight each other if the main event goes on as planned? It would save the ufc having to payout a win bonus & we all know they're tight for money now lol.

Chandler isn't Khabib, in terms of durability and outright ability to pressure..

Khabib had to wade through a ton of punishment in order to eventually secure the takedown late in round 1.. in particular with the leg kicks.

I don't think those leg kicks did half as much damage as people think they did. Khabib was compromised coming into the fight. I think that hindered him worse than anything Gaethje did.
