I'm not sure if this was his intention but now that Henry is "gone," more and more I would like to see him fight Figueiredo and Petr Yan. If he never retired, I'd still want to see it but not as much. Anyways, I'd like to hear who'd win those two matches.

Triple C can easily defeat Petr Yan and Figueiredi. He had his eyes on Volkanovski and that would be competitive IMO. It's crazy considering Henry is a legit flyweight

I care less. Look at featherweight right now. Had Cejudo stuck around, he could have been in there at the drop of a hat with a shot while Ortega fights Zabit.

With him "out," especially when he can't stop talking shit like he didn't quit, has me not caring.

I'd heavily favor Cejudo to put a lopsided beating on both. The one possibility I can see for that going wrong is if he's so in love with his striking after stopping TJ and Cruz that he tries to kickbox with them. Then he's probably susceptable to getting caught.

He overplayed his hand, he “retired” with the intention to use it as leverage for the UFC to pay him more but he’s not enough of a draw/needle mover to make demands.

They booked a BW title fight and took him out of the rankings like a week after he retired.

I wonder if there is a path back for him.

I actually think Fig is a harder fighter than Yan personally.

I think it was a bit short sighted of him to retire so young.

I think there is a small part of him that regrets making that decision.

I'm guessing he is missing the attention he used to get now that he has shrunk out of the public eye.

I think he believes he's being overlooked in the GOAT discussions.

He might come back b/c he dosn't want people to think he's ducking the current champs.

He's cutting off his nose to spite his face. Helwani would struggle to do that.

He also threw away all his leverage for a FW title fight, (they might've done if he was champ still). If he does come back, he doesn't get champ pay or PPV points. His whole stick was his belts, and now he has none.

Was a weird move on his part if he did it for leverage.

Wish they gave the man the Volk fight tbh

But as a Cejudo fan, he beats both Yan and Figgy

FW is just too loaded for Cejudo. He should come back for a TJ rematch tho, just to kill the argument of "concentration camp TJ"
