Favorite mma call out?

More so than Tito and Ken lol?

You could argue Tito was playing it up I spose but I don't think the UFC really latched onto it(I'm guessing partly for fear of negative "bloodsport" coverage) the way Pride did with Rampage/Wanderlei until the rematches in 2006.

Tito's whole schtick was pro wrestling 101 dating back to the earliest stages of his feud with the Lions Den

Sakarabu as the Gracie Hunter had a lot of pro wrestling storyline feel as well.

Idk I guess I feel like pro wresting type story telling has always been a part of MMA.

I spose its more the kind of pro wrestling your talking about, Sakuraba against the Gracies wasnt really about personal fueds but rather then idea of catch wrestling vs BJJ.

Tito personally was very pro wrestling I'd agree but again I'm not sure the UFC really latched onto that until he did TUF with Ken, Wanderlei/Rampage I think felt like one of the first times the promoter was "steering the pot" to me.

Early 00's UFC I think was always a bit wary about seeing to push things too far in that direction, they didnt mind the attension Tito's antics brought but didnt want to be seen as promoting them too much.
